Renting Guide
Our renting process is designed to be extremely convenient and easy for expats who are looking to relocate to Barbados. If you choose to rent one of our listings, then you will not have to pay us any service fees. The landlords pay all of those fees.
Most of our rentals are long-term, meaning one year or over. This can be helpful for long-term planning. We have furnished, semi-furnished, and unfurnished properties available for rent. So, we can meet any of your preferences when it comes to furniture!
Many of our properties are kid and pet friendly, however, some of them are not. So, you may be required to let the landlord know whether or not you have pets or children in some circumstances. Also, when you sign a rental agreement, you will need to provide a photo ID, and to pay first and last month’s rent, plus a security deposit. However, in some cases, you may only have to pay first month’s rent and a security deposit.
In most cases, tenants are responsible for paying utilities as well. This includes electricity, water, telephone, phone, internet, and cable television. Also, the tenant is sometimes responsible for handling lawn and pool maintenance in addition to utilities.
